Youth Group

Come and join us on Wednesday Nights from 6:30-7:30pm! Come early and eat with us at 6:00pm in the fellowship hall! Each week is a little different as we seek to grow in faith, make a difference in the world through mission, and have lots of fun along the way! All youth in MS and HS are welcome. MS meets in the MS room. HS meets in the HS room. Bring a friend!

The fun begins on September 7^th at the BLOCK PARTY featuring the band: Broken Resolve!

Sunday School

Come and join us on Sunday Mornings at 9am for Movie with a Message! On September 11^th, we will dive into Soul Surfer: The True Story of Bethany Hamilton. All youth in MS and HS are welcome. MS meets in the MS room. HS meets in the HS room. Bring a friend!

Here’s a peak into her inspirational story:

Soul Surfer recounts the inspiring true story of teen surfer and shark attack survivor Bethany Hamilton. Following the harrowing encounter that claims her left arm, Bethany struggles to find purpose amidst such a devastating and debilitating loss. With her surfing aspirations in jeopardy, Bethany relies on her faith, family and friends to muster new determination and a fresh perspective as she overcomes her adversity with grace and courage.

Special Events:

The Journey- September 9-11, 2011

Get ready to experience your journey of faith in a brand new way. Take a weekend to share your time, energy and faith in hands-on-ministry at our Dakotas Conference Ministries to our Native American brothers and sisters on the Spirit Lake Reservation. Join us at this mission encounter weekend Friday night through Sunday. For HS students only. Cost is $35. Please contact Pastor Sara to register. Registration deadline is September 1^st.

Confirmation Lunch: Sunday, September 18^th at 11:30am in Fellowship Hall

All 8th grade students and their parents are invited to attend a Confirmation lunch with Pastor Sara. It will be an opportunity to get to know each other and learn more about the Confirmation program as we begin our journey together!

Confirmation Camp: September 30- October 1 at Lake Poinsett Camp

Connect with other Confirmation students as we grow in our faith, learn more about our heritage as United Methodists, and have a ton of fun together! Attendance is expected for all confirmation students. Cost is $25. Scholarships available. Please contact Pastor Sara to register.

G.P.S Retreat

Grow. Play. Serve. Join us for a fabulous weekend retreat on November 11-13 at Wesley Acres Camp where it’s all about growing deeper in your faith, playing hard, and serving passionately.
